What is it?
Just like its name suggests, long arm quilting uses a long arm quilting machine. These machines load the top, batting and back into a metal frame, and Quilt the three layers at once. The machine head rolls vertically and horizontally, allowing it to quilt while the fabric stays in place. At Sew Wild I can do free motion quilting, or I can use digitally created designs on a computer, which can be quilted automatically.
Longarm Quilting has been around for centuries and has only gotten better with age, kind of like your favourite bottle of wine! The amount of possibilities this machine gives me and the endless amounts of designs creators have made is amazing, I am just thrilled with the idea of creating awesome quilts for you and enhancing my skills along the way! 🙂
