I have experienced a lot in my 38 years so far and I plan on experiencing a lot more! below is just a tid bit of information about me and my current journey š
My Name is Liz and I am a Professor in the Veterinary Science -Wildlife Rehabilitation Program at Northern College in Haileybury Ontario, Canada. I am a wife, a mom to two wonderful children and a step mom to three more wonderful children! In my spare time I love to sew & quilt, a love passed down by my Gram, whom I miss dearly. I also love interior decorating and home renovations, although I take forever to make decisions and even longer to finish the house projects ;).
We also have 4 dogs, 3 birds, and a snake who share our lovely home with us and if my husband had it his way the number of animals would triple or quadruple, I have to keep him on a tight leash that one lol.
I used to work in a lovely quilt shop where I taught myself to longarm quilt, first on a their Janome machine then on their Gammill. I have been very fortunate, I learned so much at that quilt shop and I am forever grateful for the opportunities I had and the people I met there. I am now moving forward with my Longarm Quilting passion and starting an at home business so I can be home more for my family while still working part time at the local college.
Sew Wild will be providing Edge to Edge Quilting and Custom Quilting along with custom quilt making for those of you who do not sew but would love a quilt of your own. I can also make other custom orders like bags, purses or other items (I like a challenge) if you so desire š
I can’t wait to build an amazing clientele and get to know each and everyone of you!
Liz
